   Logistics Double Module (LDM) - Summary

The Spacehab Logistics Double Module (LDM), completed in 1995, was the workhorse of the ISS Phase I program. The LDM has a payload capacity of 5400 kilograms (10,000 lbm) with a volume of 62 cubic meters (2200 cubic feet). The LDM contains 4 double racks, 65 locker positions and subfloor accommodations to optimize space usage.
