The operations control center for DirecTVsatellites is in Long Beach, Calif.; telemetry and command terminals are in Castle Rock, Colo., and Spring Creek, N.Y. Uplink is from the DirecTVCastle Rock (Co) Broadcast Center, and the Los Angeles Broadcast Center.
