   Delta II 7925-9.5 - Summary

A Boeing Delta 2 7925-9.5 rocket successfully launched NAVSTAR GPS 2R-6 from Cape Canaveral Air Station, pad 17A, at 17:14 UTC November 10. The spacecraft was initially launched into a transfer orbit of 187 km (101 nmi) by 20368 km (10,998 nmi). The satellite then fires its onboard kick motor to circular the orbit. This Delta launch cost US$50 million. Boeing has an additional 15 launches manifested aboard the Delta 2 for the satellite-based navigation system.
