The satellite was launched into a GTO injection orbit of 570 x 35,954 km (the target was 35,952 km), and an inclination of 3.99 degrees (for a planned 4.0 degrees). It marked the last Ariane 42L flight as Arianespace launches the final Ariane 4 vehicles in its inventory. Eight Ariane 4s remain to be launched.
