10 carries 24 C-band and 24 Ku-band transponders to be located at
68.5°E .PanAmSat ordered PAS-10 in September 1999 from Hughes,
now Boeing Satellite Systems. The satellite will replace the PAS 4
Indian Ocean Region satellite.
