The Progress M-44 carried 2.75 metric tons
(6061 lbm) of food, water, propellant for refueling the Russian
Zvezda service module, equipment to perform biomedical
experiments, tools, consumables for the air purification system
and life support equipment needed for the station. The food
included citrus fruits, apples, onions and garlic to supplement
the crew's menu.
