   Minotaur - Summary

The Minotaur is a ground-launched, solid-propellant launch vehicle. It is made up of components from the Minuteman II ICBM and Pegasus XL space launch vehicles. It was developed as part of the U.S. Air Force Orbital/Suborbital Program   Two additional Orion solid motors are used to place the satellite into its desired orbit.
