Kosmos 3M is a two-stage, liquid fueled launch vehicle operational since the early 1960s. Kosmos has made more than 400 orbital launches, and more than 300 suborbital flights. Production of the Kosmos launch vehicle was halted in 1995, but approximately 15 vehicles are still available in storage to support future missions.
