Spacehab Reports First Quarter Loss

Spacehab posted a US$3 million net loss on revenues of US$24.5 million for the 2001 first quarter. Spacehab reorganized its operations during the quarter, relocating its headquarters to Houston from Washington, D.C., opening an office in Huntsville, Alabama, and laying off some staff at its Space Media, Inc., subsidiary. Spacehab’s revenues are down 2 percent over the same period last year.
