EADS
Establishes U.S. Office
The European Aeronautic Defence and
Space Company (EADS), has opened a U.S. corporate office in
Washington, DC. The Washington office will help coordinate the
overall efforts of EADS companies
in the United States, particularly by building partnerships with
U.S. industry for both government programs and commercial projects.
EADS, with more than a dozen subsidiaries in the United States, has
a diverse, well-established customer base here, and employs more
than 1,500 U.S. citizens.
EADS
contributes more than US$4 billion to the U.S. economy annually with
subsidiary locations in 28 U.S. cities in 16 states, as well as
hundreds of suppliers across North America. EADS subsidiaries in the
United States include the following: Aeroframe Services, Airbus
Industrie of North America, Inc., American Eurocopter Corporation,
Astrium North America, ATR Marketing and Support, Inc., Barfield,
Inc., EADS CASA Aircraft USA, Inc., Cilas U.S., Inc., Fairchild
Controls Corporation, Intecom, ISTAR Americas Inc., Matra Datavision,
Inc., MATRAnet, Inc. and Socata Aircraft.
