Sciences Seeking Sale of Canadian MacDonald Dettwiler and
Associates
 Orbital
Sciences Corp. is looking at options for selling its majority stake
in Canadian MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA). MDA made its
initial public stock offering on the  Toronto
Stock Exchange July 12, 2000. Orbital Sciences currently holds 18.5
million of MacDonald Dettwiler’s 30 million shares.
Orbital
Sciences acquired MacDonald Dettwiler in 1995 for US$67 million.
Orbital Sciences sold one-third of MDA to CAI Capital Partners &
Co. II LP, Montreal, for US$75 million, in December 1999.
