Korea Selects Launch Site
South
Korea's Ministry of Science and Technology has selected, from 11
candidate sites, Oenarodo Island, near Kohung, Cholla province, to
build a launch site for its future indigenous space launch vehicle.
Work is expected to be completed in 2003 with facilities built by
2004 in order to support a first launch in 2005.
