Alcatel Space Expanding Satellite Manufacturing Capacity

Alcatel Space is ramping up its satellite production capability in Cannes, Toulouse and Valence, in order to fulfill new and expected future contracts. The goal is to increase production capacity from six satellites per year to ten. The expansion program focuses on investment in equipment and real estate and will cost Alcatel Space about US$62.7 million (Euro 70 million).
