Agrani Changes Satellite Strategy, Issues Satellite RFP

Agrani Satellite Services has shifted its focus toward a conventional telecommunications satellite above India. The company has issued informal requests for interest from satellite builders for a C- and Ku-band satellite that could be launched 18 months after it is ordered.

Agrani Satellite Services has put its mobile-telephone satellite on hold due to poor market conditions.
