company (PLDT) has expressed interest in the 147°E slot on behalf of
its subsidiary, Mabuhay Philippines Satellite Corp. (MPSC). The
Philippines Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC)
is to decide upon the application before it can be filed with the
International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
