Dynamics to Buy Primex Technologies

Dynamics Corp. announced that it would buy Primex Technologies Inc.,
a manufacturer of munitions and missile components for US$344
million. In addition, General Dynamics would assume approximately
US$170 million of Primex’s debt. The transaction is expected to
close in the first weeks of 2001.
Primex,
St. Petersburg, Fla., has 2,850 employees and 2000 revenues are
estimated at US$530 million, with net income estimated at US$24
million.
