Titanic
Director Considering Flight To Mir
James
Cameron, director of the Academy Award-winning movie 'Titanic,' may
be planning a space journey up to the Russian space station Mir.
Cameron has
recently undergone a medical examination at the Russian Institute
for Medical and Biological Problems, and has been cleared by the
doctors to undertake a space mission. It is believed that Cameron is
planning a long mission on Mir, but he has not yet signed a contract
with MirCorp. Cameron reportedly has discussed flying on a Russian
Soyuz to the International Space Station should Mir be deorbited
before his mission could be launched.
