Boeing is consolidating the
majority of production for the Delta rocket at its Pueblo, CO and
Decatur, AL facilities. Over the next two years approximately 300
jobs will be eliminated in manufacturing formerly associated with
Delta production. In addition up to 300 positions will be
eliminated in associated support functions. Most of these job
reductions will take place at Boeing’s Huntington Beach, CA
facility. There is no immediate increase in employment expected at
either Pueblo or Decatur as a result of this production
consolidation.
