China Launches
Weather Satellite
A Long March 3 rocket launched Feng
Yun 2B from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 4:50 a.m. PDT (1150
UTC) on June 25. Feng
Yun 2 is a geostationary weather satellite which will be located
at 105°E.
The satellite has a projected life of 3 years.
