Motorola's president, Robert Growney, said that Iridium, “is in a phase right now where it is still accepting.... offers.” Several groups have come forward offering plans to use the satellites. Motorola declined to comment on whether any new bidder plans now seemed viable. However, any decisions on Iridium's future would be made by the bankruptcy court, and specific details are confidential.
