EADS Selects IPO Handlers

The future shareholders of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), the French Republic, Sogepa, Daimler-Chrysler, Lagardère, and SEPI, have chosen ABN AMRO Rothschild, Deutsche Bank, BNP-Paribas, Banco Santander Central Hispano and Goldman Sachs to coordinate and lead EADS' IPO. ABN AMRO Rothschild will be spokesman of the syndicate. Flemings will be financial advisor to EADS. ABN AMRO Rothschild and Deutsche Bank will be global lead managers and joint bookrunners of the institutional tranche. BNP-Paribas, Goldman Sachs and Société Générale will be joint lead managers of the institutional tranche. BSCH and Flemings will be senior co-lead managers. EADS' IPO should take place mid-year, provided the European Commission and the French “Commission des Participations et des Transferts” give their approval to the merger. EADS' IPO will include a pan-european offer to the public.
