Launches Remote Sensing Satellite
A Long March 4B successfully launched Zi Yuan
2 from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center at 03:17 UTC on October 27.
The ~1360 kg (~3000 lbm) remote sensing satellite carries one
solar array. The satellite was developed by the Chinese Institute
of Space Technology under the China Aerospace Science and
Technology Company Group.
The Long-March 4B was built by the Shanghai
Aerospace Technology Research Institute which is part of the China
Aerospace Science and Technology Company Group.
