Ariane to Launch Satmex 6

More Information:

Satelites Mexicanos S.A. de C.V. (Satmex) has selected Arianespace to launch Satmex 6 during the first quarter of 2003. The 5700 kg (12563 lbm) Satmex 6 satellite, being built by Space Systems/Loral, will be positioned at 109.2°W. The spacecraft will carry 36 C-band and 24 Ku-band transponders. The launch contract should be signed shortly. No financial details were released.
