Ariane Signs Three Launch Contracts

More Information:

France Télécom and Europe*Star Ltd. have teamed to order the Stellat 1 satellite from Alcatel Space. The SpaceBus 3000B3 spacecraft will be launched on an Ariane rocket in April 2002 to provide television and internet broadcasting services.

Eutelsat has signed two launch contracts with Arianespace to loft Atlantic Bird 2 in the third quarter of 2001 and Hot Bird 6 in early 2002 atop Ariane vehicles.
